Do you remember the good old days before the gun ban? Ever since then revolver and pistol shooters have only been able to shoot "Long Arm" revolvers. Even the humble .22rf now has to have a stupidly long barrel with a long rod sticking out the back. If you are a Taurus 66 owner you will know what I am talking about. I own a Taurus myself and think it OK for what it is, until this came into my life; the Patriot .32 Described as a muzzle loader, it means you can have a short barrel with no iron welded to the grips.

The kit consists of the pistol obviously, priming tool, de-primer/bullet seater, two load blocks in 5 or 6 shot and a lovely little powder thrower. 1gr of Bullseye is the recommendation from the manufacture, so buffalo is out of the question, but for very accurate shooting pleasure at low velocities, then this could be for you. Priced at £920 for the whole package is not cheap, but having used one and seen the beautiful engineering, I think it is worth the price. There is currently a new .38 being developed that the manufactures tell me they hope to make available Feb-March 2008. I shall post details when available, so watch this space.
