Pietta Remington Nickel .36 BP
A faithful copy of the 1858 Remington revolver. Not as often seen as other variants, finished in a high shine nickel, with a nicely balanced 6 3/4 inch barrel. Loverly smooth tight action, clean sharp rifling. Clearly this piece has been well looked after, as evident from the pictures bellow.

Armi San Marco Sharps Cavalry Carbine 45-70
Very nice reproduction of one of the icon firearms of the Old West. This Cavalry Sharps has a case hardened action, and a mat blued barrel. The barrel is a little different also, as it is a little heavier than most reproduction. The overall condition is good, with the falling block action smooth and affirmative. The stock is of a nice quality, however let down a little by the scratches on the one side. This could be easily finished with little effort, but at WSS we like to show a honest firearm rather than a touched up piece. All that said this is still a nice piece for the range or re-enactment.

Parker Hale 1861 Enfield Carbine More commonly know as the "Musketoon", has a blued steel 24 inch barrel, solid brass furniture, colour case hardened lock and hammer with a walnut stock. This example is the shot gun variant (smooth bore) in .58 calibre. Ideal for black powder disciplines, or re-enactment. Nice piece. Marlin 336 LTS 30-30 This is a rare opportunity to own a rare rifle. There were less than 2700 of these rifle made by Marlin, with many of this limited run remaining in the USA. This example is nice clean rifle, with a crisp bore. The barrel is a unique 16 1/4 inch long, with a full length load tube, finished with American walnut. A loverly rifle to shoot on the range or as a hunting brush gun. The picture shows the front sight removed as owner used a scope. This tunnel sight has been retained and will be refitted before sale. £425 ridiculously cheap. Private Sale

Kodiak Mark IV, 45-70
Faithful reproduction of the famous "Colt Double" breech loading double rifle produced on the 19th century, the Kodiak Mark IV is no museum piece, but an accessible gun for collectors and satisfied hunters. Very good sighting with the double-leaf rear sight in a dovetail, the tapered round barrels are made of blued steel. The stock is made of selected walnut, checkered and oil finished. The Kodiak is an excellent choice for hunting; this variant in calibre 45-70 allows for a wide range of bullet choice, from 300 grain hollow and soft point jacketed bullets, to 400-520 grain jacketed and leads bullets. This allows for easy ammunition reloading for those wishing to personally custom their loads, to those who do not reload, and buy factory ammunition.

This example is quite a rarity, as we see very few on the used market. The finish is what you would expect from a high-end Pedersoli, and has clearly seen little use. The beautiful blueing to the barrel has a lovely brown hint to it that compliments the case hardened action.

The rifle is housed in its' own case, as shown, and is included in the sale. This is a rare opportunity to buy an exquisite rifle, in lovely condition for a fraction of the new price.

1966 was the Winchester Repeating Arms Company's 100th year of operation. To commemorate this occasion, Winchester produced a run of fancy Model 94 rifles. These were based on post 1964 Model 94's actions with a gold plated receiver and forend cap, brass "rifle", curved butt plate, saddle ring and a heavy octagon barrel with a full length magazine that was nicely polished and deeply blued. The straight hand stock was select walnut. All were in calibre .30-30 Winchester |

The point to all of the gold and brass was to make the 1966 Centennial reminiscent of the brass framed Winchester1866 "Yellow Boy" rifle that was Winchester's first product. |
